Yes, that tallies with the progress of my foot.

As I said, it initially felt similar to a wasp sting. That faded, but the dermal layers around the bite basically rotted away (the affected area grew slowly over a few days) before clearing up and healing over. It very much seemed like an infection rather than an envenoming.

I can imagine how a compromised immune system could allow such a bite to cause significant problems.

Fuck me that is a respectable spider right there!

Nevermind the raid - if I saw one of those you'd see me running to the garage looking for an axe...

Funnel webs are nasty - glad we haven't got them here. Funnily enough (hahaha... yrk) they are most dangerous to humans and dogs. Were are they most common? Sydney

As far as common spiders go, they don't come more common than this.
Bound to be one hiding between the buttocks of practically every human being.
Closely related to the also common Chocolate Starfish (see attached thumb).
Neither are particularly dangerous, but must be wiped periodically to avoid annoying 'Skidmarks'.

I was referring to the spider in post #1 - I can tell rubber spiders when I see them...

Nice practical joke - chuck one in someones bed if you want to have some fun!
