Never been too brand concious, if I like it, can afford it, it meets my needs, and has good reviews then that's what I look at, actually that's what I do for everything not just bikes.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

No preference really. I stick to the Japanese 4 (Honda, Suzi, Yamaha and Kawasaki) and love the look of other bikes but anything that fits me, is an inline 4, has enough grunt, is reliable and is a road/sports bike is what I buy
$2,000 cash if you find a buyer for my house, kumeuhouseforsale@straightshooters.co.nz for details

Suzuki all the way for me. Doesn’t mean I dislike other makes, just I like my Suzi’s. Never had any issues with build quality either, looks like the K2 may have been the last of the well finished ones going by what others say. My one is mint.

    Serious question serious answer..

not so serious : whos bikes in bits ????
who rides there "gay" Honda all day long????
give me a zxr 250 that will beat mine.
Um it's not the ride it's the rider, the zxr 250 is best suited to my riding style.

And Serious im surprised as you. but the surprise has worn off over and over and over again.

Oh wow, a straight line, so you are talking power.

good on ya. but we all know straight line doesn't matter, thats just twisting your wrist and your bike, why have a fast bike that ya can't ride.

    tell ya what.

when you can stick with spank me from orere point all the way to auckland on your 250 like i did.

With him on a k7gsxr750. (he only gainede on me on very longggg sweeping corners, we were both good boys on straight to even up the cc difference.)

or keep with vegabond. a rider of 25+ years on his cbr600.

stuck with him from kaiaua all the way to botany, hes one hell of a rider, was amazing to watch, but shit.

actually spankme was a harder chase.

meh anyways, stick with then then i will give you a go, otherwise do not waste my time.

it would not be a race, but you can call it one if you like.

    Sweet.

and my bike is mostly sold off as parts.

    i have my reasons.

I'm a Kwakka fan really, always seem rawer and less civilized than the others... but I also have a soft spot for some Dukes, and loved my KTM Mxer.
The reason for honda gayness is that's how they are, metrosexual for want of a better word, always boring and well finished and just gay

The pre k gixxer i would consider buying, that of the 98 srad gixxer sem-fiddy would look awful nice in ze garage.

I would consider a TL1000R too, but i hear the handle like a shopping trolley.

Kawasaki - they have been leading the superbike brand race for flipping ages... and their new ZX14 ...oh makes me want to have babies with one.

Had most main stream makes over the years but as time goes by my preffered makes now in this order are...

    Triumph
Ducati (only the length of an ant's public hair behind)
    Yamaha

Would like to think I'll always have a Triumph (and maybe a Duc) in the garage and just add different brands with it when I feel or can afford to.
Not interested in HD...........but have quite the fancy for a Yamaha R1 at some stage...........

Yeh sure, you must be real stong.. you no carrying your bike in pieces.

And what i meant by im not "that" good is im no valentinio rossi.
I can ride my bike and I do push my limits a bit, But from what iver heard from others, your a idiot and go wayyyy beyond safe to prove your dumbass.

I can ride my bike and I no I can, but I still have a hell of a lot to improve on.
And to be honest a sports bike would probally suit me better on weekends, but as most of my riding is commuting, and i really like the look of my bike I think now my Hornets pretty sweet. And yeh Ive beaten a zxr round scenic drive and vfr 400, but hey thats the rider not the bike,

Also going over to the states next year so hoping to go to the california superbike school expensive but man it looks wicked ( see if you had a job maybe you could save and go there as well ). Im keen as on track days.

    hmmmmmmmmmmmm

There always was something about Yamaha for me. The precision side of things (see their logo). However its all bullshit. The only hondas i like are naked. I like a kwaka growl, and Suzi reliablity.
But my favourite make has to be Bimota.
Favourite aftermarket makes - Lazareth and Yoshi.
