I wanted to be cool like you, so I hoiked my point count up to 125 this afternoon.

Snapped by an HP car coming the other way, in a daydream, while doing 110 in the 80 zone up Albany hill.

The namecilop (who commented on the fact that he shared my birthday on 31 March, how odd; I told him that that was fascinating, thanks for being chatty, but it wasn't making me feel any better) reckoned I'd have had about a 50/50 chance of getting away if I'd gapped it. He didn't read my plate until he'd come back up behind me.

    I had a pillion, though.

    No runners with pillions.

So, yes, I've learned an important lesson...

    ... don't take pillions.

I'm bringing a pillion on the loop.

We'll be going for a podium finish in the two-up class.

It's a shame we have to share the grid with other classes, but that's what you get when it's a small field, I guess.

    Win or bin!

Hung back with Neil so he didn't get lost. His VTR has got terrible lights.
It was quite nice having a little tootle along. No chance of a mishap.
Still haven't sorted my tyre/handling problem. Maybe I should start a thread to see if I can get some advice that works. Scratches are expensive!

It came out for a while this afternoon. The bright light made me all dazed and happy, so I went too fast on my motorcycle and got a ticket.

I think thats a good defense for getting the ticket revoked.

Bugger... when do the oldest points get retired....? I understand there are a couple of proven strategies out there for delaying the accrual of points, or did the recent laws changes alter that?
