Sorry to hear of the delay to the Connies guys!
Sarah and I are keen for a ride if anyone else is. Meet 1100 at BP Rangitiki for Marton Fordell Hunterville Vinegar Hill? Didn't get far yesterday, a bit miserable out there and cold. Time to get the winter gear out!
I'm sorry but is it just me? Three weeks hardly sounds like a priority to me. Have any of these freakin people heard of air freight?
Considering I assume your bike is still well within it's warranty period have they given you something else to ride in the meanwhile? Like a ZX14
Did you go out in the end? Might be keen today if you did just as long as it's not left too late, got bloody frozen on he way home yesterday!
Yeah I reckon mate, if a bike develops a well known fault I see absolutely no reason why the main parts centres for the bike manufacturers cant at least have one of said part in stock on standby. That part that Yod waited for for so long was a well known fault and is pretty much a given that it would at some stage fail (from what I understand) on most RF Suzuki's so why not have the part in stock at the main parts centres for immeadiate dispatch and then re-stock?
Heading down to BP Rangitiki shortly Sarge. Trying for 1100 but may be 10 mins later due to escaped cow!
Decided to let 86 go play without the blue beast providing distraction
We have finally decided that Greens Road needs a proper warm up
Friday 25th April, perhaps we/somebody can suggest a ride and end up here around 4pm for bbq and continue on as far through the weekend as we can all manage
Early start so that those with other committments/kids can still drop in and if the weather is good the energetic amongst us can go for a tramp in the woods and to meet Rhapsody and Harmony, the houdini cattle, before 86 kills them with his bare hands (or the chainsaw!!)
Thought we would also then be up for a sundayor have time to really recover before the working week encroaches
Plenty of sleeping space inside and out so bring sleeping bags and tents for when you finally crashAddress is 72 Greens Road, Kahutewara Valley. Behind Massey, go down old west road and turn onto Kahutewara Valley road, 4k along is Greens road on L, no exit gravel road so please be careful!!!!
We are the second obvious drivewayon the right (immediately next to 68), yellow postbox, go to top of drive and you shall be at the garage and be able to admire SK1PY, GIXXERS and Daytona's sleeping abode![]()
Home safe and sound after grand arvos shimmying around the place. Good turnout. An all boy affair till Dogs and Phebs turned up Hunterville. Caught up with Bazza at Cheltenham. Heaters on, tea is in the oven but am unsure if I'm able to stay awake long enough to skoff it.
YAWWWWWWWN!!!!!!!
Yes, a most excellent ride with lots of good roads and company. Dodged a few geese, peacocks, gravel and cowshit, but good to see the trees turning amber and red in time for winter, very nice![]()
Was out round that way today as well, unfortunatly didn't see you guys anywhere, tis definatly getting a bit colder now though.
Went to PioPio this morning, saw a few bikes on way back, brilliant weather around the coast by Mokau and Awakino,a few road works past Awakino pub and largeish rocks in road.Absolutely awesome weather and views.Worst part was had to take the car soe luggage and passenger.
