    ok, I've got work till about 3ish and was wondering if I would be able to make it in time for the last night and day.
    Whats the ride like from coro to fletcher bay? I could just meet up there.

    Distance wise it isn't to far, and the gravel is easy.

    Be cool to meet you up there mate, you gonna ride the CBRR?

    ha, na I've got a 94 klr250 aswell. I've been waiting for a chance to give it a proper run.

    how far will it be between fuel stops?

    would you be able to pm me your phone number so I can text you if I am going to come?

    Haha, sounds good mate. Fuel won't be a problem, last fuel is at Colville, and the bikes don't use much cruising on the gravel.

    Pleased with the bike..its ideall for the Coast Rd.
    Been a bit wet last couple of days..so have been pulling bits of it and putting them back on again,,,as we do.cleaned out the carbs..air cleaner.spark plug..oiled all the cables.etc..etc..
    Took it for a ride yesterday..Wahoo..80ks on the sand..spitting big rooster tails out the rear....took it up the Te-Puru river...great fun..found a few deep parts..and got my boots full of water...shit cold.
    Adventure bikes....what fun..

    Anyone got a spare spot in their tent??Got f'all space on the KLX to carry anything, all has to go in my pack which only fits a sleeping bag..haha.

    Anyone from Auckland keen to head down?If I can find a spot in a tent will be keen to head down Saturday morning (early) if anyone else is interested?
    Been, seen and going next year.

    I'm planning on heading down and tying a tent to the back of the bike.
    but have work till probly around 3 so will be heading down after then.

    Allways rember yrs ago..was riding a triumph.tiger 100...sort of had a wee girly on the back..we used to head out in the country ..found a paddock full of cows..then would go and tell the cow to piss off ...and left us nice warm patch to lie down in...funny but true...think my 1st son was conceived in the middle of a paddock

    did part of the wires track yesterday. will we be doing anything like that?
    do many people sleep in their riding gear? I dont think I can fit a sleeping bag in my back pack.
