Need restoration help

so off a bike for a while, (since last years westpac ride) finally found what I wanted and bought it. perfect, and not too much work to do to bring it back to its former glory. Went to local Yamaha dealer, and looks as if they are only interested in off road bikes, thats cool and I can do most of the work myself, but what a hassle finding parts. Can anyone help... Yamaha XV 750 Virago 1984. yeah its old but I allways wanted one of these. been searching the web, and all sorts. any advice.

Try Andrew Batkin at Motorcycle Graveyard - he's a died in the wool early Yamaha fan (not to mention a pretty bloody good musician if your into alternative soundz)...
