Hmm, judging by AJ's response above, you may just be better off not being there!

Hey Str8 just had a look in my book of gearing notes to see if I recorded what I needed for my 50 & I had some H100 for the Ruapuna cct. There should be a 40 on the back (will be stamped on it or just count em) & run a 14 on the front. That should be the go for a start.

See if Ola can find that mainjet with the extension soldered on. It's really weird but the float bowl seems to run out of gas so after the straight you do the hairpin & open the bike up & it putters almost to a stop until the bowl fills up a bit more. The jet extension reaches further down into the bowl. I've tried raising float a lot & drilling the inlet jet.

If he's lost it I've learnt another trick & can enlarge the internal drillings & that should cure it. Only happens on long tracks.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

Ferry is booked and paid for.

Nine bikes (eight riders) are ready to roll with this transporter alone!

Cool, I don't think we are going to get a table big enough in the Speights Ale house this time!

    Northies might outnumber southies.

I'm booked for ferry & have one 50 rider to confirm. So likely 3 bikes & 2 riders.

Just a note re MNZ licences & day licences that some may not appreciate.

Either you have to have a current MNZ licence (they will check if it is current, they are quite sharp if that old guy is on again).

. . .or a day licence. Not sure how that runs any more but always used to be that you were a current member of a MNZ affiliated club, like Vic etc. May even have to have club card with you. Be a bit silly to skimp on this after getting all the way down there.

oh yeah scrutineering; so wired sump plugs, working brakes, number boards, plugged handle bar ends, all the usual. + gear, back protector etc.

    from MNZ site: FAQs

    http://www.motorcyclingnz.co.nz/down...ENCE_FAQS1.pdf

. . . Actually one wonders about the next day's racing if another day licence is reqd. Maybe that is up to the club? Maybe not.

I was not a member of a club for the TRRS and managed to get a day lience i believe you get a discount on a day lience if your a member of a club (5$ or something!)

Might be a bit different' down south!

Your need two day lienece's if both days are mnz events.

If one's a pratice and one's a race day usually you only need the one day lience for the race day.

    It vary's everywhere however.

Is someone down there able to confirm exactly what is needed to get a day licence for the weekend. We are not club members and will be seriously pissed off if we can't ride because of that.
