    Oil light on?!

After about 1km, the oil light comes on.... If I switch off the engine or just pull over it goes off and doesn't come back..

Oil level is spot on so have I got a pressure problem, sensor malfunction or something like that?!

A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Hi
I have a 94 FZR K1 and had the same sort of problem, did a “Goggle search” that set my mind at rest

Its sounds like its the same as the FZR. I run oil level at the top of the sight glass now and have had no problems. Safe Riding

Now I'm impressed Yamaha, I've heard of plenty of engines that the light comes on when there is about 100ml of oil left!

    Great link BB FZR.

Don't you just love it when it is an easily solved problem at very little cost. Good job.

VERY good to know your light works!

I've know people to remove the bulb to stop it coming on.
