MASSIVE knee sliders, like a piece of tube off my knee. When every inch counts, use 4 inch knee sliders. Will get my knee down on my commute every day

Would you guys be keen on a south island tour on a GN250 ? I'm gonna do it on my bigger bike, but don't see a reason why I cant get me a GN250 adnd roam free around everywhere. they are not expensive too

The south island is a long way mate... We'd be talking 2-3 weeks at least if you wanna do it anywhere near properly. I have faith in the ginny, but damn... i dunno if I would be up to it

No I ment my bigger bike after I get my full - a 600cc or a 650cc. Was not refering to the hyo. I was thinking buying a gn after my 600 and doing a tour of the south on that too

aaah, i see. OK, so it's a pipe dream for now, not in the typical think-up-a-crazy-road-trip-then-do-it-two-weeks-later style we all love so much

I would have done 1800km then and I also used a liter of 2stroke oil.

I'm keen on West coast with tents for the next one It's only 333km to New Plymouth.

This part here is pretty dodgy roads. Well, at least it was when i drove it in nasty weather in the dodgy work station wagon
That is some seriously hilly windy roads, bloody hours from anywhere.
They may well be great fun on a bike, but it was not a fun experience in the car. i ended up completely missing turnoffs, and ended up in waitomo when i was headed to auckland from taharoa
Takes forever to get through those hills too, just a thought.

I guess I'll have to run down there one saturday and check it out for myself
