hey choco just go to the warehouse and get some cheap knee pads and twist them to the side and then you have some cheap knee pads.

I'm keen for west coast, but can you give me as much notice as possible, so I can try get time off work.

and I'm keen for tents and south island! and tents for the west coast, thatl make the trip much cheaper.

You have to have had your 6R for 6 months and then you can do it.
Talk to your local friends at the AA to find out more. Costs about $150 it think and its 4 days of two hour theory and one day of practical (two hours?)
I have been told by some that there isnt actually a 'riding' one: that you learn the riding theory but do the practical bit in a cage ()

If you know more than me please correct me

EDIT: search truly is my friend http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=30266

hardcore and cheap, that will save $25 a day, the only problem is carrying them, which wont be too hard.

I've got a cold at the moment coughing + riding = bad combo.

Plus I cant get my exhaust back on ATM Stripped most of the bike to give it a good clean after the tour and the exhaust has shortened by 3MM so it wont bolt back on . Gunna get a file and enlarge the hole (tons of metal on each side to enlarge) and then get that sucker back on.

Good thing about being over 25 is I only have to wait 6 months until I can sit my full, which means I can sit it in October.
But I got my 6L in Jan 2003 so if I wasn't so slack I would have gotten my 6F ages ago...

Anyway, just gave my bike a wash this morning, discovered that my tailbag rubbed the back of my bike and munted the paint! And the button thing on my choke is gone... how could it have just disappeared?!
