Also fitted new brake bads (well good ones off the 750F I wrecked) Went for a ride to bead the pads in. Needs a new chain. Boy these thumpers chew through them compared to il4s.

I thought the dim light and headlight on full would hide the cables..

Had fun actually. Got some pretty average wheelie photos and a video of the worlds worst stoppie (lost the front and went for a bit of a slide- but didnt hit the ground)

hmmmm could do. You would be struggling to find someone worse at them than me. We were just playing round and thought I would give it a crack. Decided it wasnt the best idea after that...........

Actually, the video shows nothing at all. The back lifts about 2 inches. Cant see the front sliding but I certainly felt it.

just realised the bus leaves at 12.55 so will not be there at 1. If someone text be the general direction then I will play catch up or might be there by the time everyone has finished talking. Should be about 1.15-1.30ish

Well bloody good arvo. Waited for Lance and a whole group of riders, around 10 or so, turned up. The lead rider, Alan, introduced himself and invited us to tag along. OK says us. And off we toodle. Nice bunch of "mature" riders, lots of grey hair.

Off through to Dannevirke via the scenic route with Gerble to the front showing the rest where to go. Stopped at Dannevirke for a natter, top up and a smoke. Then down the weber road and the back route towards Ormondville.

Stopped at an intersection to regroup and hmm why is the brand new Hyabusa smelling like Rotorua and steaming merrily away? Battery removed and left to settle down and limp to civilisation or organise a trailer.

At this point some decided to head on through Ormondville straight home while 5 of us headed of to Johns for a cuppa. Lost Barry and a few others about this time. Hope they made it home ok.

    Bloody good selection of bikes.

Yes, excellent day alright. And who would have thought there were another group of Manawatu riders living in a parallel universe all this time? Good to catch up with them Not the day for the Busa's tho, one cooked and another nearly looping Hope it's fixed soon. Thanks all for a very good ride indeed
