Our club meeting is on tuesday evening, and I'll find out more then. However if it follows the same format as last year then you can read more here http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=51155

It is basically a club event, but held at the Chatto Creek Tavern with plenty of room for tents. Normal pub grub is available till quite late, and booze at normal pub prices. There is no charge, but the club is always on the lookout for new members.

Anyone want to meet up on the way south?

Going to head down if I can get the K bike running this week. (most likely as parts arriving ).

Have family in Westport and ChCh so expect to stop in bed/beer/breakfast either way.

Anyone heading down? Havn't booked ferry tickets etc but will do this week. Its a long way alone...

    Cheers

I think this is my 19 or 20th Brass. Probably going to stay in Oamaru overnite there is a new resturant I want to try out there called the Wiskey bar and cafe (anybody been there?). If the weather is good i would like to come back up the west coast but is very weather dependent.
If you are walking around the camp, drop in and say hi, we always stay on the top of the grassy noel overlooking the lake at the back of the camping area.

Yes I sampled their Whiskey several times. Friends have dined there & have given the thumbs up. There is another new restaurant & bar just a bit further around called Harbour View and that is worth checking out as well. Cheers

    The Brass Monkey Rally

I cant wait, only 3 weeks to go, orsym. It will be frosty, chances are it will be raining, but all worth it, to catch up with other bikers round the biggest bonfire I have ever seen, listen to a live band and get mother fucked, thats what a good rally is all about.
