My First Post (and I want something already) (bladerider97)

    Hi Guys just joined up.

I live in Balclutha and ride mostly a Fireblade, but have recently acquired a Suzuki R E 5.

Now for my question remember I am new to this sort of thing. I notice that many people have an animated Avatar but when I try to upload one it tells me "You may not upload animated images". It is just a .gif file and is smaller than the restrictions. Any sugestions.

    Aye. Jacket is right.

Can only have an animated avatar when you become a senior member. Something like 240 posts over 4 months or so I think.

OMG I read the story behind your avatar - I know it's all been said in the other thread but I had tears in my eyes!! I know what you mean about rabbits - we had two boys that used to hump anything that moved (including their mother

Welcome to the site. You didn't happen to buy that RE5 from Allanton by any chance?

Damn, Lou promised me first option on that bike. It was my first RE5 back in 1975, so I know the bike's history right from new. Anything Lou can't help you with just ask.

Don't get hooked on posting mate - you'll get in too deep and before you know it you'll sell yer bikes and spend all yer money in internet connections.

Wait until you get some reputation too - it's addictive....like crack...

Thanks for the offer of help, I may need to take you up on that at some stage.
Lew is pretty attached to the bike I dont think he would of sold it outside of the family. You will be glad to here it is still in immaculate condition, starts instantly every time (better than my blade infact).

Is your current bike a red one, I saw one at the Vincent last year (or maybe the year before, or it may have been the MATES, I cant remember). Do you know of any others still on the road around this area.
