Hi Jade, I run a lodge here in the Naki so have taken the liberty of sorting this for you.

Ive been in touch with the "Rainbow Lodge" in Taupo & they have either a 9 bed dorm for $22 per night, a 4 bed dorm (with ensuite) for $25 per night or a single room (no ensuite) for $45 per night. They have secure parking for bikes & it's the closest hostel to the track being just 5/10 mins away (by car or bike).

    clamidia court

The non-smoking cabins are various sizes which accommodate between 2-6 people. You can supply your own bedding or hire it from us. The main communal block houses the main kitchen which has full ovens, microwave, fridge/freezer and TV lounge. It also holds the male and female shower and toilet blocks and a full guest laundry with coin-operated washing machines and dryers.

Tariff: $25-$30 per person per night.
