I did indeed HTFU and this afternoon after*doing* the Takas I finally made myself go up and over the pavement and driveway drop off and rode all the way down to the bottom.
Funny that as I was doing it I got this kind of body memory tingle of sorts- kind of like de ja vu except that you KNOW you have done this before.
Must push through stupid little mental blocks
Knocked two off today.
Rode the Takas with the Kendogs (cheers guys and thanks for being happy to stop off FOR me at the bottom) and for the first time since I've been riding the SE over it I actually enjoyed it. It was not the fastest I have been over there (most of that's been as a pillion!) but it was a good speed, I wasn't worrying about *making up ground* on the bits I was comfortable on just trying to ride within my abilities and smoothly.

Passed my restricted - eagerly awaiting the new plastic to arrive in the mail so I can send off the letter to request an exemption/approval to sit full license now instead of waiting.
Feeling really natural on the bike now and loving it!
