true, it's mostly animal fats which tend to cause weight gain.. nuts apparently have lots of vegetable fat in them, but you'd have to eat a WHOLE lot more to gain weight... Then again, that CAN backfire if you need to put on weight, but are a vegan...

but yes, i have proved the vege weight loss theory myself even though I do eat cheese (not so much right now though), it's quite weird, but tell you what, I've been screeds healthier than I was way back in the days where I had a little meat with my veges (never really enjoyed the meat though :S)

I've so far dicovered that soy milk + instant coffee just isn't the same (where as soy milk + espresso coffee isn't too much different.
I need to take a lot more food than usual to school. Today I took a container of cucumber and tomato, a small container of fruit and nuts, 2 packs of raisins and an apple. I needed way more.
Think I'm going to take roast veges tomorrow and heat 'em in the common room microwave.

But. So far, so good. Will do my food dairy for today after dinner later tonight. I'm just about to head to the vege shed to get some more kai for the week.

Make sure you keep your protein intake up by eating more pulses...beans, seeds, nuts...raw nuts are better than roasted salty ones.

And drink heaps of water. Also, if you start getting digestive issues, eat brown rice as it is high in fibre and settle your stomach down.

Fruit and nut mix was plain roasted almonds and cashews. Really yummy. Yeh, been trying to drink a fair bit of water too.

    Do baked beans count?

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Was fairly cold today with a chilly wind that cuts through every layer you are wearing.
What do all hXc's mates do..head for the canteen to buy steak and cheese pies, of course.. They sat right next to him as they scoffed the things. Now I don't even really like pies, but I gotta admit they smell delicious and certainly make your mouth water....
Poor lad...he was salivating, for sure.
