    Awesome 250 deal on Trademe!

Was just browsing the bikes on trademe and dreaming (about Triumphs ) when I came across this listing.

Now, I don't know if the seller has heard if gas prices are high at the moment, but they are selling this VERY cheap!

It's a 1997 done bugger all K's for how long it'll keep chugging along. Trusty GN engine!

They're awesome little bikes (I happen to have one)

Anyone looking for a reliable bike to learn on should get in quick (or else I may buy it and try to sell my beaten up version!).

Opinions are like arseholes: Everybody has got one, but that doesn't mean you got to air it in public all the time....

Wow, that Volty looks like a good deal, pity it's up in Auckland. A quick (newbie) question: how do they compare to GN250s? I know the engine is the same, but what's the rest of the bike like?

would appear to be better built... this is coming from a non-biased, non-GN hater who actually once considered a Volty. Would be a good bike for a smaller person as the bike isnt particularly big - about the same size as a GN.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

Yea, they're of a better build quality than the later Gns as they're made in Japan, not cheap chinese sweat shops, and they also look nicer! Really good bike to learn on, I really enjoy mine, especially with some new Shinkos on it!

They're usually worth a bit more than a GN, and for all that comes with that bike, the $1800 buy now is still a real bargain! The 1997 really doesn't make a difference... it's a GN engine so it'll go forever.
