I am surprised that you ran out after 137. That's low even for the Gixxer. Still, a few bursts around Apiti way and it doesn't take long. Come to think it, it wasn't a particulary slow ride either was it? That explains it
Yeah that 9 seems to keep going.......

Was a bit of a shame we did'nt see the new metal but gave us a good excuse to get out for a scoot....(like we ever need one...)

Good to see ya there, good to see the bikes all go again too.

Ok. not even I can go that far. The bike is 20 yrs old and has ALOT of get up and go. Handles beautifully. Well, very good anyhow. It has a bit of a headshake/bouncey bouncey at high speed cornering but that probably has more to do with the age of the shocks than the bike itself. Big smiles riding it.
Was good to see the gixxer on an outing.

That was a awesome ride despite losing the tank bag and getting a flattie!
A HUGE thanks to Al for providing the rubber grommit to fix the flat and Gary for sussing out the compressed air. Cheers guys

Also a HUGE thanks to Sarah for kindly lending me the very surprising Skippy! I did not really know what to expect, but was very suprised at how capable the bike is! It has shall we say, relaxing acceleration, but once at the desired speed, she just makes it sooooo easy to stay there. I did not grind it once and I loved taking in the scenery. So Thank You Sarah very much

I think I put the tank bag on the back seat when I checked the gas and it fell off as I took off down the road and as some of you maybe wondering, no, I never look down when I'm riding, I barely even look at the clocks - mainly the temp guage now I think about it

Thanks for the warm up coffee and fire Cowboyz, was much appreciated!
(When I heard you say the Suzuki was unstoppable, you meant the brakes were crap eh?)

Thanks also to Sandra for being the support vehicle

And a big thanks to Sarge for baby sitting me back to DVRK.

I got the kids a pineapple fritter on top of their usual order and most importantly, remembered to buy tomato sauce, so all was good on my return home from another action packed Manawatu ride!

Awesome ride, Awesome group, Cheers guys!

WTF?? The hardcore dedicated found the blackbird... you old folk were herded back into the retirement home before your joints locked up from the cold, while the proud and the few battled on through the darkness and black ice.

    AND DAMNNNNN IT WAS COLD!
