Thats why you should all buy 600s......... Damn just ordered a transponder from mylaps while waiting for the gp to start, that sucks! I think it cost like nearly $700 all up and it prob wont even make it here before round 1!

And it's been argued at legth before, if you want laps for dollar value, racing isn't for you. If you wanna set, acheive and smash personal goals, get bragging rights amongst your mates at the pub, and pick up chicks, then it is.
Nah Jimmy, I don't give a toss about winning....honestly, I don't give a fat rats arse where I finish, I just wanna have fun on me mudderboik. 2 x 6 lap races just doesn't amount to as much fun as I'd like. I'm sure other people feel the same way and think to themselves that 18 or so minutes of racing doesn't work out to well on the $$$/smile ratio....but I'll still be smilin' (which is my only personal goal) so I've still entered. Considering I'm racing Clubman's on an 8 year old bike, with no Championship at stake, I can only make half the rounds at best, fun is the only reason I'm racing, not the faint prospect of ever crossing the finish line first.

As CHOPPA says "that's why you should all by 600's"....which is a perfectly understandable attitude (and I would if I could) but it seems a shame not to encourage racers into the premier class, which is why we have a Nationals event with only 13 entries in a Superbike field.

Na man, you got it all wrong. Those of us who think we're quick, wont be forgotten by those that are important to us.

Some of us want more than that too, but worst case scenario we'll have cool stories to tell at parties.

besides, you're just sore cos my girl has beaten you in the past

Yeah thats a bit gay for clubmen aye you still pay the same entry! I was gutted last season i came to the last round at taupo and they made me ride clubmen cause it was my first race and i got skanked with only 2 short races also broke my chain in lap 2 of practice!

Sounds like theres gonna be a good line up of riders this year, hopefully everyone thats around comes out for a play. It would be good if some more of our top riders did more then just a couple of rides a year! I think 88s gonna be there to give us a lesson though.....

Ok Garry , heres the deal . you stay off the bike for the year and come to help me get the best most dedicated team of young riders going as they should be going. I could do with some assistance managing them this year and you are the perfect mentor for what our team needs. Come see me at work to sort out a deal old chap.

    Paul.

All I want is for it to either rain properly or not at all. In-between will be more than my nervous system will be able to cope with. I obviously need to sprinkle some HTFU on my cereal.
