I'm sure they have more interesting and useful things to do. :tui:

It's not a lightspeed ride - the track is the place for that. But itsa neat bit of road - some open bits, some bendy.

    nor do i....

or may be i do.. its to keep ppl who have to try & organize babysitters out
like many of the rides around here seem to be organized 1-2 days before or on the day. know i have shit show of joining in on them (its hard enough with week notice)... i know im slow but but im not dangerous either...
the disadvantage of riding on me own... If something happens how long dose it take the cops to know i have kids somewhere?

My apologize DB for bitching, im not picking on you personally.
its just food for thought to all
    bitch over
asked Mom if I was a gifted child ... she said they certainly wouldn't have paid for me.

Oh dear. Must get your chat fixed for ya. You will have fun with that.

PM sent re: dates and times - anyone else lost ? PM me or Pana.

Anyone riding over from toegas ? Meet up and head over so ya all go to the same place.

Regarding weather - if the road is wet this will not be an interesting OR a safe ride. The road is mossy in many places, which is okish in the dry - but NOT AMUSING in the wet. The open-road section is tempting, but pointless in the wet. So if its wet, I suggest we go a different day. What say ya ?

I'm still in leathers which are no fun in the wet either! So that sounds good to me... Will send ya a PM regarding date/time.

allright alright ! I'm gettin so much coz I'm keepin it quiet, so heres the details. Looks like we will leave Rotorua at 1:30pm on saturday. Any further comment on this ?

Meetup point is TBA. Could be either TheShed (Amohau st) BikeForce, or at the BP on the way outa town towards Taupo. Watch this space.

    Heres the route http://tinyurl.com/47e3m6

    Heres the briefing http://meshnetworks.co.nz/~steve/rot...eteko-ride.pdf

No, its not a long ride, but itsa good one.

The idea was, this is an ideal road for a um, quick, um, zoom down. But now everyone knows, so pull 280 down it at your peril.
