Well I'm takin my kids camping that evening, so I'm out at TeTeko. Pretty sure you lot of consenting adults can make something happen after that.

The ride will likely break up on the road to murupara, coz its kinda tempting and there is a wide variation of bike sizes. We will do a very quick show of hands to vote of some things before we get started, like do the hotasses wait for the 250's at turning points etc.

At Teteko there is a wide range of options available to you - Awakeri hot pools with electric BBQ there, ride back to from whence ye cometh anyway you choose, have a beer with with BiK3RCHiK (she home by herself later on) and me in edgecumbe (5mins away), Matata Pub for dinner, or do a U turn and cane that road again - itsa great wee track.

If you are looking for something specific, do holler and I can point you in the right direction. Or have a hooly with BiK3rCHiK - theres a supermarket next door, so grab some steaks and beers and she will unlikely turn you away. LOL

Cool as I need to be back pretty reasonably to plan the trip up to Auckland so will get to Te Teko, might re-fuel and have a quick stop then get back on the road again

Any of the riders are most welcome to come back to our place for a refresher stop before heading back if they want. I only just wish I was joining you all!

PM me for the address or talk to DangerousBastard on the ride.

    Have a good one!

Coolies. Fuel is at Kawerau - turn left and then 2km left again (10mins), or Edgecumbe - straight through (5mins), depending on whether ur going to Rotas or Toegas.

The feds won't be interested in a single sport-biker whizzing past then.

As for pissed harley riders, well, yeah. We'll be outa there and gone in minutes anyway.

The place they are staying at is at the beginning of Kopuriki road, about 300m down on the right.

Just looked out the window.... Weather is looking a bit iffy here... I think I'll give this ride a miss. Might shoot down to Turangi and say hi to the BustaGut Gathering folk then shoot 'round the lake.

Hope you all have a great ride
