Hey Suzi Q, my guess would be anywhere thats horribly public and places bikers may go when out for a ride, like pubs, pubs and ... er ... pubs?
How about the car shops too? Parts places? Supermarkets and libraries even.
Petrol stations could be a good one.

Your ride sounds like it is going to go off! I will get a little something down for you to read out at your gather points about the cheesecutter campaign soon. I promise to get some more petition forms to you as well.

Yeah but, we may have to shorten it as that time of the year down here is very dodgy for bikes, loose gravel and ice etc... but a shorter route has been sorted we will see how the roads are a week before hand.

Brrrr.... You guys are mental! In the nicest way of course! Short is good too. I am worried about my poor toes to be honest. I have good wool socks, but man, they get sore and numb fast when it is cold. Any southern tips?

Get ya self a good pair of thermal socks. Sounds like your boots maybe too tight. This can shut off circulation.

Oddly, touristy souvenir shops are the easiest place to get them from because of the whole merino natural fibre thing. They have them here for $25 : http://www.artworksnz.co.nz/Digicart...engine&CaID=10 check out about half way down the page.

I'm sure there must be other places you can get them from though.

I checked out the site for the socks - D we could put in an order for a few people and get the postage costs down!!!!! I've got my eye on the cushioned sole ones or the cable ones - merino possum of course.
