Lets hear it for the gay ginga harassment officer(hope you're reading it)

Got my first ticket on a bike tonight.
Not for speeding as I was going the appropriate speed all night(well....)
Not for dodgy driving as I was being courteous.

For high beaming a car that had come up behind me with its lights on full and passed me on a blind corner, turned out to be a mufti cop car

    Gingaa strikes again!!!

Didn't know it was an offence

Not to mention the speeding he was doing. I was riding at 105kph and he went screaming past me trying to catch up with the riders way up in front of me...you guys were a good 700 meters ahead and he caught you lot pretty quick...I would estimate he was going about 130kph at the very least! I would have followed him to get his speed but then knowing him he would have given me a ticket for speeding....because I was keeping up with him .

He said that they are allowed to pursue a vehicle without lights on? Not sure about this but even if this is the case, they never pulled anyone over for about another 10 kilometers down the road...and they caught up with you guys just after that long straight after we turned off the main straight...That means you must have been running from him and he was pursuing you until when he pulled you over???? Considering he wasn't upset with anyone for trying to do a runner it all sounds all a bit dodgey to me!

Seems like one rule for them but its unsafe for anyone else to exceed 100kph!

Hmm yes there is no doubt he was doing up to 130km/h as He sped away from me doing a little less.

I just cant believe this guy has been harassing bikers for about a year and no one has complained. This is the same cop I saw almost run straight over gareth. Its like its a sport to him.

I think he is a homo.

I can post his details up if you like? Im sure I can get his address too...

This guy losses any respect very quickly, so much so I dont think id stop for him unless he already had me.

Its not an offence, I would contest that westie...Rode Code states that 'the only time you have to dip your lights is when you come upon a cop on points duty'.....you are within your rights to drive/ride with your lights on full...its an arsehole thing to do granted but not illegal.

Road code is not a legal document and cannot be used in the court of law, however it sounds like the may be a peice of law that would allow this to be successfully chalenged.

Just a a note, a friend of mine was told by the head man in this area, that if 3 complaints are made about the same officer, he/she will be brought up in front of their superiors to explain his/her actions. The complainents will be contacted with the outcome of that action.

Perhaps someone in the force can say whether this is true or not, it might also be worth a try by the people involved

Hmm, this would appear to be at odds with that Maha.
