Indeed, could'nt get over how soon Bassa cottoned on to that cop, flashed his brake lights way way before we saw him.

We had a similar sort of scare - nearly got our pictures taken just south of Matawai. Luckily the car I had just caught up to must have gone through the other way earlier and flashed his brake lights hard out and waved furiously until I cottoned on. Good bloke - I'm pretty sure we're cool.

    Ain't detectors great!
Can't believe the bad luck we had with the fog first then Lis getting pounded in the collarbone by the high speed stone. She's serious about giving up riding it would seem. Shes only going to commute to work and thats about it.
Been looking at our options for a two-up bike and its not pretty. the ZX-6R tourer looks interesting as does the 636 tourer version, the Aprillia Futura looks just plain odd, which I liked, and thats about all we've found so far.

Gorgeous paintjob there Meanie, very sexuh!

And great ride today, good to meet some more locals that I hadn't previously. Some good roads, and a good test run for the new toasty grips on the little hyosung - I think they're going to be a real win over the winter.

BTW did anyone else notice that the 2nd "tone" in a certain "two tone sapphire" paint scheme is actually purple!!?!?!

....not that there's anything wrong with that.
