And before anyone jumps to conclusions - I'm sure it wasn't 'our' dipshit.

Eek - just occured to me ... is this thread for real or is it a joke? I mean, how many KB'ers wouldn't actually like to burn pregnant women at the stake ... truthfully now.

Ops, perhaps i should deactivate my emotion chip now ..

I have to agree with Karla..

Sure this guy's a dipshit, but he was just trying to get abit of extra heat from the fire in the best way he knew how.

Unfortunately, a the cliche' goes, play with fire and someone's gonna get burnt and that's exactly what happened..

    ---

But hell, who gives a fuck. I hope somebody beating the living day lights out of him!

I can see what Karla is saying, however, there are stupid actions, and then there are STUPID actions!

I truly hope the lady is going to be ok, but 'face, neck and arms' does not sound good to me! I hope she gets a big payout and someone goes DOWN and not in a good way either!

I am still stunned after reading this... Gentle to her and a big get well.

    No, it wasn't me.

I was too occupied watching some young ladies bending over folding up their tent.

Nope, sorry. This is plain dangerous stupidity. There is stupidity, and there is dangerous stupidity where people get maimed. One of them is great fun, and the other is wrong. People who don't get the difference get banned - too bad.

Bring on the stupidity, getting off scott-free, trashing the speed-limit, breaking the law, screwing the IRD, sex games, lighting a fire where you shouldn't, drinking too much piss, growing a dope plant, and all the other quality entertainment. But NEVER overstep that mark where someone gets hurt. Bad bad bad bad bad!!! Everything changes then.

Mmmm - alright, I stand down slightly. We are morally and ethically judged by our actions, not our intentions. If a person is trying to be helpful, and ends up causing harm, they are responsible and have to live with that.

However, a shaming and blaming witch hunt on a cyber forum (bullying) just causes denial, hurt and anger/rage. If we throw threats and intimidation we are wallowing in it, especially if we are intentionally trying to hurt the guilty party. Shaming doesn't help, it inhibits recovery by encouraging denial and preventing discussion. It is a feminist tactic, that leaves little space for support or insight into our own behaviour. Finger pointing.

Guilt comes from our own individual moral codes; people who have no guilt could care less about judgement by others. Who are we to say that someone else doesn't have a code of values?

It takes courage and strength to take steps to apologize and look at or change our behaviours. To do this we need to be given space and encouragement. Not something that happens while others are turning up the heat.
