Oooh - that GPX looks semi-decent. I've yet to find myself a bike for a reasonable sum of money, I shall check that one out pronto.

Btw - there's a whole bunch of AGV Stealth helmets on trademe for $250 new from Waikato Yamaha. These are ~540 or something at motomail (was there on mon). I've bought myself a blue/black one, should be as good/better than anything else for $250.

The $600 gear thing sounds like it's from Cyclespot Honda in takapuna. Also went there to see an FZR (it's on trademe for $3495 iirc). The gear was a bunch of Spidi (?) stuff with a fairly cheap helmet. Still, can't really argue with $600 for pants, boots, globes, helmet and jacket. Personally I'd rather spend $800 on helmet/jacket/gloves though.

Yep - tried that exact one on at motomail, and it's the same size as the HJC/shoeis I was trying on (XL - I seem to have a large head). So I figure it's basically right. Fingers crossed. Worked out my sizes in pretty much every bit of gear, which is useful when looking for stuff on the 'net.

just remember that fit/comfort isn't entirely dictated by size - and the helmet is something you don't want to get wrong (we all have different shaped heads)

    Could be worth checking out.
she's a beauty!!! i wanna go and take a look at her! live out west, bordering auckland-ness and th waitakeres... beautiful spot, as there's some good twisties that have virtually no traffic flow... plus, there's the piha route, so got some practice ground well sussed... (always school car-parks, esp during teh hols!!)

checking up the postings to see if they're sold yet...

oh, and hey... that red zzr has been offered at 3300, again, the only problem is the guy stays in new plymouth, so i don't see how i'd be able to check it out... but 3,300 is a tempting price... i dont lie..

Mmmm thats BSA B11 is beautiful, the one with the red tank. Maybe a new project.....hmm. It's not a 250 though yui, they were 550 or 600cc singles I believe. A lot are listed as 250 as the owners don't know what cc they are. Beautiful, beautiful bikes. There is a matchless on there too that would be a good project.

As I said, I tried on an AGV helmet that was that size and it was basically perfect. Cheers for the advice though.

Going to see that GPX tonight btw - I'm interested but will let you know my thoughts.

Oh ok, yea buy it!!! Then let me ride it!

I think that Red ZZR is nice bike, you should go have roadtrip with some of SMC members to check it out.

But whatabout the idea of Naked bikes? Or do you want bike with fairings now?

Maybe possible to take $500 off, maybe..
