I rang them and they said that it is sold.

Anyways, how do we know that they haven't thrashed in between the running in time?

and the fact that the warrenty doesnt transfer for kawasaki bikes. apparently only covers first owner (according to something else I read on here this morning)

wicked, i shall hopefully be heading over tomorrow to check it out Narrowed my choice down to either the 08 Ninja or the 04 GSX.

I think either choice is good, i used to have an 2002 gsx and i loved that bike untill i had to give it up

Latest news of the next shipment to NZ is 5th July of the 250R Ninja. The ship is on the water and docks in Singapore. Our shipment is then transfered to another vessel which docks in Tauranga about the 29th June. All bikes are then trucked to Auckland for dispatch. So hopefully i will get mine around the 5th July.

Yep my dealer told me about that today, i couldnt win it if the odds were 1:2 ( i have good luck errrrrrr) and there were 50 draws but its nice knowing im in the draw

I saw someone pull up to the BK in taka yesterday on a red 08 ninja, had a talk to them about it and they started it up so I can hear what it sounded like.

Just got back from Mt Eden m/c. They have had their first shipment in and have a demo available now.

Very happy i chose to wait for the Kawa...build quality looks really good on close inspection.
Got them to fire it up for me and its pretty quiet...though its only done 90kms so didn't want to rev it very high. I wouldn't say the sound is awe-inspiring but sounds cool all the same.

I was tossing up between the Hyosung and Ninja as I'm a big guy but having now sat astride one I think the Kawa will be ok.
The seating position is much more upright than the Hyosung to me.

All in all...i cannot WAIT!
