    Street Magic and Aldi

What say you all about Street Magics - other than they seem to be expensive for the age of them. Look like fun though, and I am thinking of something to take 10km each way to work instead of a big bike, so reliable, cheap and preferably fun.

There is also a guy selling Taiwanese Aldi brand copies. Given the need for parts support and reliability for motorbikes, they aren't cheap enough really to make me take a gamble, but anyone know anything about them.
The Chinese scooter (or motorbike) reputation isn't great. Taiwanese may be better, or maybe not.

i dont know much about the aldy copies but they dont look quite as good.
i just bought a 99 street magic 3 weeks ago and yes for the age they are a little over priced but i liked the look of them so that made it for me. its a little more like a bike if you cant ride it in a skirt i say. iv even had a few scoot riders pull along side and comment on it so yea im pretty happy with it.
there are still parts available over the counter for them as well so thats a big bonus.
hope it helps with your decision

stay away from the Chinese, Korean and Taiwanese shit, not worth it when you are stranded half way to work...

I have had a few SM's in my time and they are amazing little scooters, if I didnt have a 15km motorway trip to work I would look at getting another one. Worth every cent. They do seem to get neglected so like anything if you can find a clean one its prob worth the extra dosh.

NO NO NO... unless you buy it to burn it. There is enough American branded shit in this world. That poor bike...such a shame for it to get tainted with those colours....

There's always somebody who will never get the joke. Can you not see the humour in it?

Fuksakes its only a Jap scooter, not a Maserati.

I've got any Adly scooter an It's been great. Very reliable an cheap to Buy/Run.
Taiwanese scooters are much much better quality than a Chinese one I had.
