Yes, I really enjoyed the Bandit Despite it's engine size it was very light and manoueverable at both low and high speeds. Steers very nicely into corners and it's easy to move around on. There's a very slight engine buzz but it's a big grunty torquey motor and this just added to it's character

Nice to look down and see nice shiney polished engines cases, very cool.

    Heated grips - yes!

Has a very sharp looking front mudguard.

Comfortable to ride in the upright position and I liked the rubber mounted footrests, they had a solid kind of 'give' to them and damped road and engine vibration. Only a small scrape too

Really torquey engine, not high revving and doesn't need to be. Gets up to speed real quick without a lot of huffing.

Handled very well two up, had to really, what with keeping up with a certain Dannevirkian - very good fun

I don't blame you for jumping to that insinuation James, what with Cowboyz and Yod's latest revelations

Yeah speaking of swapping (bikes that is) might take the 955 for a squirt over the takas with grubs crew morra morn to do brunch in matinborough ! Will see how H feels when she wakes up, after doing the cricket impersonation on the 10 today
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

I concur, yeah it looked to be going real well two up coz we were losing too much time through there.

Awesome day yesterday, was great to be out on my bike again. After coffee and cake, and fundraising ride discussion, was ready for more, so
went down with Al and Sarge to Levin to collect Sandra. On the way home got left in the wake of their exhaust fumes just after we turn off onto Opiki Road, but didnt worry me as I was having lots of fun on my little 250

Body feeling abit stiff this morning, shows how a few weeks of short rides makes me unfit for longer ones. But hey if this weather stays this mild for another few weeks it will be great riding weather.

Might as well be Ashhurst garage as everyone knows where it is and it most central for all riders.

Departure time will be 1.00pm sharp.
Since its a democracy we will vote on a choice of 3 rides:

One is east, one is north, and one is west. Whatever rides get the most votes/support after the election is it.

Sort of like typical Sunday afternoon ride.

Regrouping at regular waypoints and slower riders will be leading the way.

If theres more than ten riders I shall provide a gift to be drawn by lottery.

    Etc, etc, etc.
Alas I will be working today, perfect day for it .. you can always ride past where your post will be on the 28th june so your no longer confused

    have a great ride guys

A little biker in the making Bill?

We could perhaps do the Apiti loop and stop for refreshments at the Pilgrims Rest Pohongia Valley East Road? A charming establishment
