What is a MUST for you to have when riding?

I have been looking at all the stuff I carry with me when I ride. Over the years, there are a few MUST have items I take with me when I ride.
    I always carry:

    1. Extra clutch lever - Bike falls over, breaks clutch lever, I'm fucked,
    2. Small tool kit from manufacturer,
    3. Small vice grip - holds things like an extra hand when I need one and also clamps things when I need that as well,
    4. Tyre repair kit with CO2 inflater,
    5. Small tyre irons,
    6. Money - A $20 stashed in the tool kit as well as a few dollar coins,
    7. Panadol (in first aid kit),
    8. Mobile phone (in my coat),
    9. A couple spare fuses,
    10. Small first aid kit (It used to have a condom in it, but I can't find the extra large ones here ),
    11. Shop rag,
    12. Tiny can of WD-40 lubricant - besides lubricating, it cleans grease off the hands quickly.
It all fits in the compartment under my seat.
This is just for short, everyday riding; commuting, etc. Longer rides, I take more stuff.
How about you? What are your must have items for riding?
    Ride, eat, sleep, repeat!

On long trips the only difference may be some sunscreen for my face, assuming the suns out...

My list is pretty reasonable (?)

    1. Inhaler
    2. Licence
    3. Visa
    4. Tissues
    5. Lipstick
    6. Cellphone

    7. Tool kit (FWIW) is already on the bike
    8. Waterproof trousers if I take my bumbag.

+ I usually tuck some cash in one of my pockets as well.

I ended up with one of those HRC cards when I got my Big Ol'Hornet. But as per usual I usually go packed for bear and feel like a boy scout!

    Tyre Gauge
    Spyderco
    Leatherman
    First Aid Kit
    Tyre Repair
    Duct Tape
    Emergency survival blanket
    Emergency survival kit
Tools (assorted, but usually missing the one really needed)
    Fuses
    Spare bulb(s)
    Zip/Cable ties
    Spare Cash

And all the aforementioned gee-gaws, thinggummies, whatchamacallits, doo-dackeys, gimballs and paraphenalia associated with biking and other caveats of hobby pursuance!

    Bike has a tool kit.....
The only other thing I take for a short to medium ride is a cell phone and my Gps.
Always ensure your bike is prepared before leaving home and you'll rarely nedd anything else.
