    Hi Brent
Sounds like a great idea. Just let me know when and I'll do my best to be there!

I'm sure by then, GiJoe will have bought yet another bike -- maybe you could borrow it?

The ER6 would do it, get rid of the fairings & chuck some semi knobblies on.
    Go on, don't make excuses....

    Hey

Don't forget that most of the roads wont be open over that way from the 27th to the 31st August

    The WRC comes to town
Closed roads and lots of maniacs on the road
So I will be there anyway

I did it last year and had a ball

Good point Scott. I'll let the poll run out, and double check events etc.
Heading up towards Pt Waikato end of this week to check out access to a few trig point roads for a future ride plan. (closer to Akld, and accom at Pt Waikato camp ground).

Being it my only form of transportation I can't afford to get in the down and dirty of off road goodness, and the fact that it has an underbelly exhaust

I have an account put aside for my future road legal trail bike, the money just drips in slow I just love Kawhia, you lucky bastards !

Actually, last I saw of him was merging back into the dust somewhere between Kawhia and Raglan, with Bass -- thought he might still be camping there

Always keen for a ride. As I'm unemployed at the moment I should be able to fit it in to my busy schedule any time between July and November.

Interest in this ride looks good.
Hope to knock together an interesting route that will take in some roads not previously covered, so balancing travel distance and rendezvous points may need some close scrutiny.
I think the bach is still the best/cheapest option for accom, and hope to make it a two night gig, (plus a Sun night stay for those who want, depends on schedules), allowing for different time schedules. ie, arrive fri night, and take in a good ride to rendezvous with Sat morning arrivals somewhere, and lead them back to the bach via other roads.
The rendezvous/s might include one just sth, and one nth, not sure yet.

Any suggestions are welcome. Places of interest, terrain etc

as for cask wine....., well, I've been known to sample bottled plonk, but only out of paper cups, and with a feed of Marmite sandwiches.

Last Kawhia ride we took the KTM Hard Equipment 1.5 litre bottle of vino rosso.
Might have to stock up again for this ride
