Nyeh! I used that trick all the time - VTR250 AND Firestorm (196kg DRY! ~220kg wet)

As long as yer on solid ground, it's all good. Sidestands seem to be pretty close to the balance point of most bikes. I've seen it done on full-dresser Harleys! (But if the sidestand is gammy...discretion may be the better part of valour...)

I know where you've all been too - that three wheeled thing is a great promo tool (And yeah, that Cagiva is pretty sweet too - Japanese reliability with Italian style TL1000 engine )

My yellow 'thing' should be joining the family in the next couple of weeks too. Yay!

Haha I quite like mine, it goes down almost vertically and then you let the bike roll back an inch and the stand rests at a nice strong angle, no way the bike will move forward off the stand unless on a massive hill!

A new piston is on its way... old one is alright, was plenty carboned with a minor bit of scuffing. Safer than sorry and it'll have a complete refreshed top end at the end of it

Okeis, as Squiggles said when we take top off the pistons were coverd in carbon all over the place...

I had to scrape off it with wire brush. It looks ok after it got brushed and sand papered. It will be on sale on TradeMe
(if any KBer wants it I can sell it cheaper than what I'm thinking to sell on TMe)

The safety sticker actually came off without any problem. I cleand it out with the stuff I bought from Repco and give it a clean and sticked Suzuki girl sticker!!

Is it just me, or does that spider look rather large.

Good to see you got the sticker off alright, the new one looks pretty good.

Ah, nothing wrong with that piston! However, you'll be able to keep in front of RD250LCs for longer at the lights with a new piston/rings

Jeez, better watch out, RS bars and a fresh top-end, you'll be giving Natalie a run for her money in short order

i should mention that you rest it on your right leg. your right foot should be stepping on the stand, as you pivot. it will keep it in place AND you've concealed the fact that you are NOT lifting the bike off the ground with brute, powerpuff-girl force.
