Now that it's all just one big organisation with different 'uniforms', control is a pipedream.
Why not have a season on them as per duck shooting, hell we even have an annual wallaby cull down here, maybe as theres so many of them we could have a couple of weeks every year to keep numbers down, imagine the benefit money we would save.

I was walking to work the other day and saw mother and child walking along, the child was only about 2-3 years old and said "look mum i'm a gangsta!" and she replied very enthusiastically that he was indeed a cool gangsta...

    Makes you sick doesn't it?

reading this gave me a thought. are the tv people not just encouraging this shit? not just by screening the shows in question, but a number of adverts as well.

first one that pops into my head in the push play one, with the "uncool" adults and the kids challenging each other in a break dancing contest. look at how they are dressed, kids and adults alike. hats off to one side, "bling-y" necklaces etc. and another is the lotto ad with grannys souped up mobility scooter, and her grandson in the window. hat askew and doing a "hand sign" that means god knows what.

surely one step would be to start showing kids and adults dressed normally, and trying to be mini gangsters? i see so many little kids [like, 8 and younger] wearing hoodies and sideways hats its not funny. 5 year olds should not be dressing like that! they are a target without even knowing it.

as for the maori success badges, what a load of crap! they need to encourage maori education BEFORE high school. they need to start when they are 4 or 5. by the time most hit high school, they cant be fucked learning, so they dont. surely they should be got at when they first start, so the want to learn stays around?

Just my 2c, but I think that the "Maori Success" badges are not only a cmplete waste of money, but they are yet another case of reverse racism surely.

I mean they want all teachers around the country to wear these ridiculous things, surely it shows an attempt by the Ministry to bias the education system towards one group of children based purely upon their race rather than needs....

Now, don't get me the wrong way, I am not in any way shape or form saying we should not help those young people who need extra help with their education, I am merely asking whether it is a better idea to support "Success" rather than just "Maori Success" - I also don't think that tacky badges are the way to celebrate it either.

These badges are taking money from projects that should be to help ALL of New Zealand's children and focussing them purely on one sector. Where is the assistance for the white kids? Or the Asians, Europeans etc etc? Or is it that the Ministry are too scared they'll be labeled racists for not focussing on the Maori sector??

"Education for all... but we'll celebrate the success of our Maori students" sounds racist to me...

Not to mention the "Wassup?" button, how is that helpful?????? WTF??!!
Missus: What the f*&k is that???!!!! Where the f*&k do you think that's going??
Me: It's a [insert old broken vehicle here] can't you tell?
Missus: Oh for f*&k's sake... [slams door]
Me: Phew, lucky she didn't see what's on the trailer!

Positive discrimination. Also known as racism.

I'd love to see the uproar should someone have suggested teachers wearing a badge saying "I like to see white people succeed".

But there is some irony in the "Maori success" badge'. The reason people love seeing it is that it's like spotting a white tiger in the wild, or hearing some common sense come out of a politician; it happens so rarely, it's a treat to see.

Quasi's answer to reduce the drug industry and to Lower the bennifits paid out ?

If you want a bennifit you must be drug free, drug testing should be mandatory.

then watch the drugs and lawlessness reduce, not to mention the lower numbers on the dole ...overnight !
Ive run out of fucks to give
