hmmmmmmmmmmm. As someone who works outside all day. I think there is such a thing as BAD weather and we are smack bang in the middle of it. The good news is we have the biggest tournament of the year on tomorrow and with 240 people tramping through the mud there should be very little grass to mow for the next six months

Aint golf a great sport,especially as it is a winter one too.

Just get a heap of "keep off the grass"signs around the course,that'll give you an idea of the humour of the players.

Bet you can't wait till Friday morning to see the damage done and prepare for Saturday playing.

...and as someone who was born in dunedin and grew up in chch I can categorically confirm there is definitely such a thing as bad weather....you just dont see a lot of it in the north island

The outlook for Saturday is improving. MetService now forecasting "showers clearing with a southerly change". Even better, the rural forecast shows only light rain and not around the the middle of the day.

Of course, odds are it will be nothing like the forecast. Rug up!

Nasty and I have both had 3 days off this week, she has gone back to work but I need yet another sickie day - this is a foul foul sickness. Checking the Wx for either the 'Rapa or Horoewhenua & Manawatu just shows winds, wet and low temps. It's just dodgy for us to be out in it.
