More information required. What is the situation you are living in? Do you have a license to occupy or a tenancy agreement?

we have a tenancy agreement, it doesnt say anything in regards to this incident, situation is 5 flats in a complex on top of a carparking building, then the wardens flats on top of our flats.

So what led up to this situation? There must be much more to this. If it was breaking and entering you should report it to the police. If you want to flick me a PM telling me what was going on. I have a little bit of experience with this sort of thing.

You rent the space, its your home, he has to give reasonable notice, if he busted into your room thats possibly criminal behaviour, the fact you where home makes it worse...............home invasion, breaking and entering?

report the prick to the tenacy tribunal and to the police

Tenanacy Tribunal, they're the ones to go to. Yes, it's against the law. Yes, there is a possibility of being paid compensation, although in this case it's likely to be difficult to get, and a small amount anyway. Yes, ring the TT, and potentially the police depending on how that conversation goes.

If you're just fucked off and want to mess with her, ring the bond office and find out if she has lodged your bond as she is legally required to do. Fine and compensation all round if she hasn't

You have a tenancy agreement .. all your rights are on the back .. you signed it I hope you read it.

24/48 hours notice .. is the norm depending on the variables.
