Yep it is strange... but doesn't it make you feel something?

I love how he hits the drums so hard.

I vaguely recall seeing the second part where he pulls off the mask, and it is Phil Collins.

I wondered about the neck bend/twist at the beginning. Phil C. used to do that, but I wondered if it was just an actor being an imitation perfectionist.

OK, bling to the first correct answer.

Where and why was this song banned in the early 1990's?

The BBC banned it during the Gulf War for having inappropriate lyrics. It was also placed on an unofficial "Do not play" list in America after 9/11 for similar reasons.

The sound on the TV is so whack! I used to have the "Face Value" album that track was on (not Genesis, BTW, Swoop - just Phil Collins on his own), and when I turned the sound up the walls used to rattle, even with the crappy stereo we had at the time. The sound on the TV version is so compressed that it sounds really anaemic.
Speaking of which, I have to donate blood this morning...
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

    Don't care about chocolate much...

But Genesis and Phil Collins will always be the best ever (respectively) group and solo performer in my mind.

I can still remember being 16 in Paris in 1992, witnessing the awesomeness that is a Genesis on stage performance!
I still get goosebumps listening to that song, gorilla or not.

Seriously, you MUST watch this video. It's only 30 seconds long. It's the gorilla again, but with a difference.
Eastenders theme tune. Think I spelt it wrong in my rep comment to you. Know it all too well since my Mum always wants to watch her soaps when there's something good on TV.
