Yes there are several rumours, the reality will be told shortly. And to answer the weight question, MV are capable of losing quite a bit more weight from stock, eg. my Tamburini is 21kg down on the standard 1000. By the way Big D, if your in Chch, come ride some of my toys, most are Italian tho, excet for the oldies, they're It. and Jap.

If he doesnt take you up on that offer....can i?

Come on Big D, help me out here .... you know what they say Mark, anything's possible (not necessarily probable, but possible), maybe you could ride my Motard first, when the weather heats up we could have a run over the Banks Peninsular.

Remember that Big Dave is a seasoned rider, his job involves riding verious bikes in verious conditions... its not something to take lightley and hes a old bugger with time in the saddle and experance to boot, sorry fella.

Of course due to his age, insurance could be a problem

So are you meaning a Softail Senna or maybe a Brutale with forward controls and apes.

I agree that both are good

If I let SM ride an MV, I think insurance would be non-existant. But I would let him have a run on the motard.

That's the whole point of the design, small refinements (worked pretty well for the Porsche 911)

To me Italian is about V-Twin power spending all that money & still having a Inline-4 doesn't seem right might as well buy a Jappa

YES YES true... but the MV Tam for example has as much if not more power down low than ya best RSV, I never thought Id say a muility has so much torque, and remember the F4 engine is as narrow as the 916.

I thought "beating a hasty retreat' was more the Italian way. Ducatis are sooooo common
