Yikes! is that the general price in Christchurch or just in the area you are in?

I assume the truck protest down there is making its mark as much as the Auckland one up here?

I still spend more on lattes than I do on fuel. If petrol gets too expensive, I'll just switch to drinking long blacks.

Just occurred to me I've no idea what the price of gas is. I heard on the news that it went over $2, but what's it worth now? Didn't think it was up to $2.33 here in Chch, but could be wrong.

When it comes to filling the bike I really DON'T give a rats what the price is, I go for the highest octane.

I don't nana it to conserve the gas cos my Buell has a learning chip and adjusts itself to maintain the optimum fuel economy and performance.

Last fill was the most expensive yet...$30 and I can do 300 kms before the petrol light comes on. Have never run it dry so don't know EXACTLY how far I can go once the light comes on, the furtherset I've done on reserve is another 30kms.

So even with fuel prices as they I am still happy that

PS: the car costs $120 to fill on 91 and I get just over 500kms outta that (!!!!) buuuut I can make a tank last 6 weeks in the car!
Pretty much use the bike for EVERYTHING.

In Napier I'm sure the gas stations have held the per litre price for years...but my tank keeps getting bigger. In every vehicle I own. It's rather strange.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Jesus girl i'm only gettin 200 clicks per 30 notes ! (you nana LOL) High octane is only any good for older bikes (to stop preignition) or bikes that have high compression ! If you aint had ya heads planed or the like i doubt it would make any difference to your buell ! Check with ya mechanic on that one but think i might just be correct ! 300 k shit i wish !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"
