Sorta getting back on subject, and regards handling, if you want to ride an MV hard, it's not as easy as most Jappas to feel at home on, you need commitment..... believe in the bike... then the MV will outcorner most things straight outa the crate.

Yeah I did find that as the seating position is rather cramped, ya kinda over the front... but by the time we get to Nelson I reckon we will all be used to them.

PS: ya avatar is that a road winding up that vally? lets take the MV's there

In a post waaaaaaay back I mentioned a retard proof set up, it's used because an agressive bike requires positive input, no half arsed shit. This is all only my opinion and prolly worth squat, but I know I've been spat off when I could have made it, had I just leant harder on the inside bar and not questioning the situation.

It's OK, we'll get some motogp pics and your loverly lady can do some flash photo shopping to make it look like we're on there. We'll have people lining up to get our opinion of they bikes.

Nice looking bike. Have they solved the "Italian electrics" issue this time?

All shit aside, is there really anyone in here who would rather have a jappa 1 litre than this machine? Honestly? ...it would certainly be no contest in my book!

(Oh, and if anyone should need an MV shifted from A to B feel free to give me a call...)
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

Was checking out a Tamburini at Manfeild the other day, yeah real nice bike for sure and if the prices were similar (basic MV) to a Japanese bike than yeah i'd definitely consider one if I were in the market for a sports bike but the reality is that they cost considerably more than a Japanese liter machine so no I would'nt be even remotely consider a MV, Ducati 1098 or KTM RC8 because they don't even come into the same league in value for money.
I realize it's a personal thing for sure, I just don't think they offer anything that much extra that they can possible justify asking such a price premium.

There are many out there that will disagree for sure and fair enough but whatever...

On the looks side of things the Tamburini MV was quite special with all it's exposed carbon fibre but personally I think a R1 is just as good looking as a MV or a 1098/RC8, I only tend to go ohh and ahh when we see them as the roads are'nt exactly littered with them so to see one is not a regular occurrence.

My MV has never had any electrical issues at all oh and you're more than welcome to shift my MV into your garage.
    100% down...no more to pay!

I got to say that it's nice riding a bike that I'm not likely to see another 10+ of when I'm out riding. To me that's part of the "value" right there.
Although I do agree re a Euro's price vs value, but there's nothing like riding one hard...that's when you know where you're monies worth is. Simply divine!

Down here you don't exactly see that many R1's kicking about either but I get what you're saying.
Can't help thinking that for the money an R1 or ZX10 dripping in modifications would be mint! Well, an R1 or ZX would be mint anyway... mods or not.
