Vulcans rock, was only a year ago i was riding my mean streak all over the place

I guess we all hear something different. I thought it was infringement issused at 10kph over and 5kph within so many metres from a school.

Aint it funny how ya do creep up though ! Now (rrrr up untill 2 days ago) when travelling in a 50 zone i kept the speed just under 60 !
Think it might just be stationary cameras that give ya 10 k leeway and wont flash ya unless yr over 59 k

Track is supposedly closed too. Not as much snow up there as when the attched photo was taken (crappy scan as was before digital cameras were invented - or something pretty close to that).

I'd like to know the facts about the stationary cameras too. I thought they were self setting based on the average speed of the first vehicles to cross them. I've heard more than one person say they've been flashed at or close to the speed limit, but without infringement issued.

They also had that nasty trick of placing a mobile camera 50-100 metres past a stationary one. That way, your attention would be focused on the stationary one when you're thinking "Na Na, Na Na Na" (childish I know) and then you'd get snapped by the mobile one that you hadn't seen when putting your foot down

Well I went for a wee ride this afternoon through the gorge and over the saddle to try out my new tune. Pretty bloody cold out there today, so it may be time to look at some of that Chillout stuff.

I can recommend it, lord knows how cold I might have got going home from the Chopper ride if I had'nt had that gear on, it was farkin' freezing and I only suffered the cold as much as I did because I finally got wet through in places.
The whole day through up until then I was pretty comfortable.
Man it pissed down all the way home and I was pleasantly surprised how half worn basic Michelin pilot roads went.
I'll still be trying either a road 2 or power on the rear next combined with a 2CT power on the front....I can't wait!

I just had a new conti road attack put on the 1050 friday b4 i found i wont need it for a few months ! Bet i get more than 3 months wear out of this one !
955 's got a brand new pirelli diablo on too rrrr was gonna swap em till they found the glass embedded in the 1050s old one !
All i need now is a tandum bike trailer, car with a tow ball and a driver to take us all to taupo on the 25th and i'll go scrub em both in lol
