Plastic welding in Wgtn?

Can anyone recommend who/where to get cracks in fairings repaired in the Wgtn area? (Not for me you understand......someone I know...

)

You could always pick up one of the plastic welding kits and give it a go yourself.

Perhaps it would be worth giving a few bike shops a call and see what they recommend.

HUBBY says....All Bumper Repairs in Kilbirnie - though needs to be refinished (painted) by someone else

They were advertised in Kiwi rider a few years ago, I emailed the co that imports them but they don't anymore

you can just use a good soldering iron and do it your seld once welded use the steal fibrer bog jo

There is a panel beater on the corner of Nelson St and Udy St Petone, sorry dont know the name.

disturbingly thats what I have already been doing...just wondered if there was a better way.

I used All Bumper Repairs Kilbirnie in 2001 to put my VTR1000 side fairings back together again. Reasonable cost at $250 back then. As said above, they don't do the paint job.
