Triumph 2009 Daytona 675 spy pics

MCNew UK have a few spy shots of the 2009 675 and the Street Triple R AND new 885cc Bonnie and new 1700cc cruiser.

But back to the 675. I quite like the ever so slightly revised fairing and headlight- except the two slates over the air intake. The nose seems lower and further forward and wider. Smaller indicators too (wow, I'd pay thousands extra to upgrade to those babies).

Curious that they covered the capacity badge with black tape??? This has raised eyebrows on the 675 owners forum, as it hints of a bigger capacity. Why leave the Triumph and Daytona labels showing but cover the 675?
Rumour is the 2009 will have 130hp (current is 123hp), revised suspension and brakes.
Good web page. You can enlarge the pics of the magazine and read the full text.

Those things over the intake are probably a red herring...

Ahhhh. I had heard something about Triumph dealers being told to clear the decks a bit. They also haven't changed the 675, at all, since launch except for some stickers and gold rims.

    Ahhhhh.

    +1

    Improving "pretty much perfect"...

As if the 06-08 models weren't drool-inducing enough as it is.

Since the fairing is wider I wonder if that means significantly more cc's. Any chance there's room for around 1050 of them?
