Fifteen years of pension is a whole shitload of money. If a couple of hundred thousand people can cark it fifteen years earlier, that's several hundred thousand shitloads of money which rapidly becomes enough to change government policy.

Banning smoking outright would cost us, the Kiwi taxpayer, a fucking fortune. Which would mean a raise in taxes. Which would be the current government not getting elected back in, not to mention all the fumingly angry smokers.

Let's just shoot the bastards then.

Smoking's discusting. When I'm at Pak'n Save and serve a customer (I'm on checkouts and customer service), the customers like...

"Ohhh heeeeeeey bro... cannii haf a winfeeeeld twentee fiyve?"
    then I reply...
    "What drugs were they again?"

I call them drugs, cuze that's what they are.

I could go on for hours. Just like in bed.

I automatically assume all late model holdens are cop cars and drive accordingly.

    Works for me

Lol to clingin... It's certainly a refreshing surprise to have a check-out operator on a soap box.

obviously the drugs you need are the ones marked "Prozac" cos you need a chill pill...If I was served like that at my local supermarket I would complain to the management!

Personally if I was served like I serve people I'd want to smash the operator.

Don't you love the pictures on them now?

    Sorry... like I said, I can't stop.

Makes him easier to spot in a crowd. I've put him on my "Day Before Apocalypse Shooting Spree" list.

Just cleaning the laser rangefinder now.

Ummmm, why? It's going to prove to be a bit problematic in the 'borrowing a phone' stakes any time in the next ... some ... years.

Besides, the cameras in mobile phones have their purposes. Without them, where would we get inexcusably bad trademe photos of "mint" bikes?

Combined camera and phone units inevitably = shit phone and shit camera.

I want a phone with a 1 month battery life and a 600km range. Preferably powered by a ZPM so I can blow the world up if sneeze. Stop pissing about with fripperies phone people and design some functional technology.

Treo Palm 650 (some stupid number)...

Absolute wicked phone, absolute wicked price (not), the battery lasts me about two weeks, although I only do about ten texts within that time and about ten or so calls. Big touch screen, mint.

Good luck on the 600km range though

Voila! http://www.iridium.com/products/product.php?linx=0001. No word on price, strangely. And no camera.

You'd probably need to carry a lead-acid battery round with you too - but hey, you got the range.
