I bet you haven't even showed it to the insurance accessor for fear of it being written off!

haha, i called them to check my excess and told them i dropped it on some "diesel or something" and had some "minor cosmetic damage", guy basically said it'd be written off. fact is i can't afford to write it off right now so friday is a drive down to ngaruwaihia(sp?) to pick up some nc30 bits! i'm covered provided i've told them about it as soon as i could, don't ride it, and don't try to fix it.

basically the only thing making it unrideable is the gear lever, and no-one thought to pick the end up so i can't just weld it back together. $200 bucks and several weeks from japan for a new one, so it's either find one, borrow one or make one (cnc mill/router at work heheh). if i can't get/make one i'll reconsider calling insurance
