Wrong again .. I was waxing ok .. covering all the bits but was doing it in the wrong place ..

oil on top of bottom chain just in front of rear wheel ..

wax on top chain (on the top) by the start of the rear wheel (of course after you have ridden bike for about 10 mins to heat the chain up .. I do this after I have finished riding

does it sound like I learned something
Mmmmmm, 15-20mm doesn't sound like nearly enough chanceyy and I'm wondering if that's measured with rider on the bike. Mine's specified at 35-40mm and I'll be expecting to get at least 25-30,000k out of it.

Question: What is the best solvent/cleaner to clean off the dirt and oils of paint without stripping off the wax?
I have some clear cover to put on the tail section of the bike and some wheel strips i'd like to get on as well.

    Cheers in advance....

Ummmmm, if you're trying to stick something to paint work, the last thing you want left behind is wax!

    Ok, do tell then.....
How is one to put on clear cover film without it looking mingey underneath? (Mind you I think i'm already too late as far as the tail section is concerned, i've left it a bit late I fear).
