Most everything I do is a conscious decision. As for being 'seen' a certain way...due to my contributions on an ONLINE forum...people can think what the hell they like...not gonna be able to stop them.

Also I'm pretty clear that while I might have a one track mind I am very very committed and in LOVE with MY man.

Guess I just don't see much point in trying to come across as a smarty pants - most of the time I see that no one really gives a shit what anyone else has to say on here anyway...and why would or should they?!

But hey thanks for the 'concern' if that's what it was.....

Settle, petal, nobody's ever suggested that you're not!

I'm not sure how it has anything to do with being a smarty pants, just whether or not one appears to be doing nothing but blathering about sex on a motorcycling forum.

    Natch.

As part of one's well-rounded interaction with others, of course. One wouldn't want to go overboard with the shallow stuff, would one?

It's all about being reasonably eclectic with one's contributions and not having a single-track mind, etc.

This ONE doesn't believe there is any well rounded interaction with others to be had on the public forums, with strangers, in the public view and one wouldn't want to judge oneself or others by their contributions to a said online forum.

Oh is it? Do you have the rule book there for entertaining oneself while online? Maybe a thread on what is and isn't appropriate for how to conduct oneself is in order?

BTW - I do see where you are coming from I just don't buy it for reasons listed above. I am much much more than Number One...my friends and those who know me in the flesh know this and those that assume I am all I am on here - well whatever

    That's a shame, too.

Why do you feel the need to hide the 'real you' when writing posts for an online discussion forum? Nobody's asking for your home phone number; it's a matter of the tenor and spirit of your responses.

Why should writing for a public audience cause you to deviate from your natural personality?

Deviate from my personality??? Assumptions abound on your part my dear. I don't hide myself or pretend to be something I am not - I just don't feel the need to lay all there is about me bare for all of KB to pick over - as they usually do. Oh yea and heard of stalkers? Why would I tell the world too much about me on here?

BTW I do have some very well rounded interactions on here - most not in threads! Some even about JUST motorbikes I ride AND race one ya know!!!

I suppose it's a woman's prerogative to change her mind about something within any given five-minute period.

It's not about divulging personal information; it's about making contributions beyond drearily shrill sexual innuendo.

Ah. Not in threads. That must be why your public persona is, well... less than multidimensional.

Getting off ...on ... ??? topic, apparently it is a womans perrogitive to change her mind... thus I think her(site) name also. The resulting confusion also, is a feature we mere males come to expect, in the interaction with women. A state OFTEN encouraged, by said women. I do hope the "liberation" is as you hoped it would be...
