What, are they set to go off at 50.0000001<
    That's absolutely stupid!

Heh! I was passing a car doing 90km/hr today and got up to 111 on my speedo as a cop came around the sweeping bend ahead of me. What is it with slow drivers? Don't they like being passed or something? ... that they feel the need to speed up! But I just slowed a tad as I was pulling back in and cruised on by as the cop passed going in the opposite direction

Had 1 speeding ticket while overtaking a horse float worse part was the cop praising my overtaking skills, the place, the clear road ect & saying if I was only 5km slower he wouln't have pulled me over but 130km even if only for 10 secs was just a tad 2 fast. I like to get out, overtake & get back in.

Yes the horse did get back in front of me.

Yup, been there done that. Of course, there wer etwo vehcles in the radar beam, so technically they couldn't measure the spead. Of course the cops never lie, are never wrong and never make mistakes, so I was poorer for the experience. Wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire...

I would think it was safer to just get out there and get passed – but what do we know?
Speed kills, and I’m a bad boy.
He is the most famous or is that infamous cop in this fair land. Ive never had trouble with him when ive passed myself of course because I NEVER break the law (tui anyone?) but have heard many a tail of woe

I am of course hypothetically driving my car during this hypothetical scenario, however the monkey driving is true and he lives in Inglewood.

I got a ticket for passing scores of cars on the Mackenzie basin back in 97,
I was only doing 255kmh in a 100 zone...cop was a bit over the top really, tried to arrest me after I was good enuff to pull over and have a chat with HER.
The fine was ridiculous, $1800 and they even took away my licence, my only form of ID. No sense of humour...

Yep, been done as well. Missus says to take it easy going to Napier and back to see the family. So yours truly does exactly that.

Now bear in mind that I've done Papakura to Napier running in my Batmobile RX7 in 3 hours there and 3 hours ten minutes back seeing my parents for lunch with my sister in the car. Running in so not allowed to use the second turbo which means no more than 4,000 RPM good for 195kmh which I tried to do all the way there and back.

next time on the GSX1400 in two hours 50 minutes sitting on 260kmh across the Rangitikei plains and often on the Matamata staights.

I'm in the car with the missus and daughter heading back from Taupo before Tokoroa travelling North going no more than 109kmh as much as possible to keep the tribe happy and overtake three cars slugging along on the main overtaking lanes heading up the long hill. I no sooner pull in "behaving myself" when a HP comes over the rise while I'm sitting on a measly 117kmh, nearly causes a major accident doing a u turn and nabs me for $120 bucks. Man was I pissed Safety? Like hell.

Bad stretch of road for that one, they like to catch the tourists rushing to catch the plane in Christchurch (they even check the timetable for the best times.

As I had just passed the forth car saw the was only a wee bit over loose licence speed threw out the anchors flashed lights and waggled finger, bought lotto ticket.

Funny how people suddenly value their licence as a form of ID when it's taken off them....
