Cheers boys n girls for your comments - good and bad!

Track days on my old motard was wicked fun and a good substitute to getting in trouble on public roads.

I recognise my hopeless inability to be well-behaved on a bike... will try again in my 30s!

    Oh damn....

But seriously, what about when you have REASONS
i.e. kids and a wife etc? Does that make one a more sensible / cautious rider?

I respect your attempt at responsibility to your familys needs, although seemingly a big decision to make... if family first is your choice. It is a good one. One I would agree with... and take it easy in the cage...

Good on ya for making a very mature decision, and knowing when to fold 'em.
There'll always be bikes to come back to.

You'd think so wouldn't you. Just for a bit.

Then you realise that if you ride faster you get home earlier to spend more time with them

That's my excuse office and I'm sticking to it.....

In reality I found that you are a lot more sensible when passing, cornering in unknown areas etc and you seriously pick where and when you whack open the injectors.

As much as I hate seeing / hearing people are giving up motorcycling, (Have done it myself) but with limited income, and a family... An easy decision, NO it isn't. WELL DONE FOR DOING IT...
