And I'm sorry - tongue in cheek or not - I can not see the humour in someone being injured due to the incompetence of others. Had it been the scooter running the reds I'd be the first to point and laugh... However, what you see in that video could become very painful reality for any of us here.

Dude, you take things way too seriously - the video in all likelyhood is a setup - the fact that it portrays someone being hurt is one aspect of it... my comment was not laughing at or making fun of the injuries possibly sustained. It was a throwaway comment about a riding a scooter... lighten up, if you take everything so seriously you'll have a stroke.

And would you really point and laugh at someone being injured because they made a mistake and ran a red light... that says more about you than my comment says about me.

Mate, if it makes you feel better to believe that all videos that show people getting hurt are staged events, by all means go ahead. Believing so is probably either deceiving yourself or failing to accept the harsher truths of the physical reality that you live in.

Yes, sometimes I laugh when people get hurt through fault of their own - and no, that doesn't make me a bad person... I'm just honest enough to admit it. Well, that is I laugh at videos - if I was present I probably would be too busy giving first aid... Besides, I'm not talking about making mistakes - there are plenty of people out there who just fail to engage their brains before engaging in potentially fatal activities.

As for taking things too serious - you started out by misinterpreting my comment that the situation wouldn't have been much different had the fella been on a motorcycle as a personal attack on your 1st post, which it was not. Have a glass of wine and dodge your own stroke...
