I don't think anyone was travelling too quick. I saw you guys go past after a loo stop in Norsewood. I probably only caught up because I wanted to have a little fun in the gorge and make use of the clear road.
That sounds like a quote from "The lord of the rings"I gather all the heated grips were working just dandy then?
Seriously, it sounds like you lot had a great day without incident.
Superb write up there Yod. Excellent day out! Loved the Taupo Napier run and numerous other bits. Maybe I can justify a Tiger with mangrips now![]()
I'm applying for a refund on my Scottoiler and then talking to Lance![]()
What time did ya all leave?Decided last minute(typical women),so chucked some gas in(could've pissed faster)$20 took about 5 minutes no shit to fill, otherwise would've gassed at Ashhurst, arrived about 10.35 and all bikes gone.Thought you were off at 10 so read thread and saw 10.30 and new we were pushing it timewise.Still found this little windy section you call a gorge,so had to try it.
Hello officer put it on my tab
Don't steal the government hates competition.
try this http://www.chainoiler.co.uk/ been running it for about 1 year now, bought it cos i couldn't afford scott oiler, can't really fault it!
dont waste your time or time will waste you
Yeah got way held up by a 4WD in the tight uphill sections (25-35 Kph corners).
What's with putting those small speed bumps on a couple of those steep downhill parts?
Kinda strikes me as that would be the ideal time to have full braking capacity without being upset by stupid man made bumps!
So only effective on a Harley... or a Kwaka?
Sorry, these jokes sometimes write themselves.
Went for a ride on Saturday, damn it was cold, a few hail showers and I had the grips running at 70% (the green light) for most of the day. Actually had cold toes as well.
Passed on Sunday because my rear tyre's getting a bit square and a bit lively in the damp spots when upright.
he he. I only have a kwaka model one. Might be more expensive building a triumph model one with the single sided swingarm in all.
Far too much info............
Yep. seen those. Pretty much just copied it without the name on it.
It probably doesnt work as well as a scott oiler but it does drip oil onto the chain so it cant be doing any harm.
